Jack Mountain Bushcraft

If you’re thinking about taking any sort of bushcraft skills course, I have to recommend that you check out Jack Mountain Bushcraft. Last fall, me, Carl and Uncle Bern had a chance to tour the field school in Masardis, Maine.  Tim Smith gave us a great tour of the school.  It was completely inspiring.

I’m including one of JMB’s videos and a couple that we made as well.  Enjoy.

    we did this once as kids. we were so excited too, but then the concrete was hard and it was still cold, and we got spooked (by who knows what!) and all ended up sleeping on the floor in the living room. Still such a fun idea :)
