FDA Raids Amish Dairy Farmer at GunpointHey, has anyone seen my country?  I know it’s around here somewhere but I can’t seem to find it.  The last place I had it was……

You know, that’s exactly how I feel sometimes.  Where is my country?  What happened to it?  Mostly because common sense seems to have completely escaped the leadership and all of those screaming fanatics with their stupid signs waving back and forth at the political conventions.  I know, I know, your thinking, “What’s Carl ranting and raving about now?”

Well, let me tell you.

Today in the news I read about an Amish dairy farmer in Pennsylvania who was raided at gun point by the FDA (link to their press release).   Who the Frick let the FDA have guns anyway?  Read it again, FOOD & DRUG ADMINISTRATION.  I mean is it like this:  “We found your beef to have e-choli.  Now, we’re gonna shoot you.”  WTF?  I don’t see the need for any Federal agencies outside of the DEA, FBI, Secret Service, and the CIA to have guns.  Do some Googlin’ about Mr. Allgyer and you will see that the FDA filed a civil complaint against him.  “Civil” here means that he didn’t do anything that would warrant someone pulling a pistol on him.  But that’s how it is in our country these days.

What ever happened to good ole American values.  Mr. Allgyer was providing raw milk to people who want to drink raw milk.  Personally, I don’t drink the stuff, but who cares?  If people want to drink raw milk, great.  It isn’t like they were drinking liquefied crack cocaine?  But the way they took him down was like he was a drug dealer or something.

We have literally gone off the deep-freakin’– end to allow Federal agencies to bust in with guns-a-blazin’ to take down a milk farmer.  A MILK FARMER!  And an Amish milk farmer at that.  I mean, the guy doesn’t even have electricity and you’re going to point guns at him?

Why am I worked up about this?  Look at this article:  http://rockrivertimes.com/2012/02/22/food-freedom-legal-battles-rage/

When you read through it, you will see that families got together and purchased cows with their own money.  Then they asked a farmer to keep the cows, feed them, let them eat and they pay him to do that stuff.  Why pay him to take care of cows they purchased?  Because in return, they only want the milk from their own cows. They own the cows!!!!  They just don’t want to have to milk the cows.  Or, perhaps they live in a neighborhood with those stupid covenants and restrictions and they can’t have the cows at their house.  So, they legally contracted with a farmer to take care of their animals for them.

So, remind me where in the world the Fed has a right to say, you can’t drink the milk from your own freaking cows?   They don’t.  Folks, it’s time to wake up.  We are at the point where a Federal government in Washington, D.C. is telling us we can’t consume food from animals we OWN?  What’s next?  Are they coming for our chickens because the eggs aren’t pasteurized?

Other countries

I used to live in another country.  Mind you, I was born and raised here, but I lived for two years in a rural area of Romania.  There, we would get our milk from one neighbor, our eggs from another and our bread from yet another.  For veggies, we would go to the piata (market) and buy tomatoes that someone had grown in their back yard.  Everything tasted better than what our stores sell here.  Everything was fresh and “organic” because they didn’t have the big pesticide companies spraying chemicals on all the stuff we eat.

There are people in this country who would love to have a situation like that now.  Bob’s got chickens and he trades with Sue for milk.  Why does the Fed think that they need to be in our business?  Taxes?  Milk lobbyist?  Not sure.  But it is frustrating as all get out.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

He told them that was none of their business, when one of the guys showed Steve his BADGE, so Steve asked the other guy who he was, and he showed Steve his BADGE—TWO DEA AGENTS….Apparently they were in the store watching the customers buying food, they saw Steve with this BULK SHOPPING CART, so they decided to follow him…Steve "Since when is a crime to buy food"…..There answer was.."SINCE YOU BUY IT IN BULK IT IS"…..SO THEY CONFISCATED THE FOOD….NO RECEIPT…Steve wanted his money back from these guys..It was over $200.00, they stated they didnot have that kind of money with them, but if Steve gave them his name and address they would have DHS send him a check….So he gave them what they wanted….(WRONG MOVE IF YOU ASK ME)….Steve decided to take down their names, and sheild number, he got paper and a pen from his truck… As soon as he asked them their names… THEY TOOK HIS PEN….

I can believe it. You have to be pretty slick when prepping. I have a friend that moves all of his stuff at night so that his neighbors will not see. Similar thing happened in the Depression as well. People getting prosecuted for having food on hand. It is only in the last 60 or so years that we stopped being agrarian. Back in the day it would be totally normal to have 8 months of food on hand.

If you've ever been in the Rocky Mountains before a major storm, you see how quickly the shelves empty. Society, on the whole, is about 9 days from growling bellies and about 5 days from "eeeeewwww…….I have to eat THAT?"

I agree 100% – We have totally lost it here. It is ironic is it not that Romania, a former communist state, now looks way more like a free country than our own. My wife is from there, and it is really nice (I've been quite a few times). These people actually understand what oppression looks like and want no part of it, while we are asking for it every day.

It is a shame that happened to the farmer. More, it is a greater shame of the situation in the parking lot from the comments section above. Steve really could have avoided all of this, however. Simply remain on the offense. Now, I didn't say offend them. I said remain on the offense, in the moment, continually asking them the questions. Do it in a respectful, proper manner. You are a legal citizen, and they took an oath to protect you. But you MUST retain your rights. Steve gave his rights away when he responded in a defensive tone. He then became a normal sheep, and sheep have no rights.

In other words, it is contract law. Those two agents made an offer. If we act as sovereign individuals, remaining in honor, you either do two things: accept the offer, or conditionally accept the offer. To do the former is easy enough and requires no explanation, and to do the latter has the legal effect of negating the original offer. This keeps you in a 'creditor' position, and creditors never lose.

To go into dishonor, you do the other two things: argue, or remain silent (note: notice that they have stacked the deck by conditioning people that they have "the right to remain silent."). These two responses immediately put you into a debtor position, according to contract law, and debtors never win.

Any offer has only four responses, noted above.
They don't teach this in school or society anymore, sadly, despite its origins in common law. Being an English speaking country, we still live in a society constitutionally protected to provide common law protections for those who understand it. Word to the wise.
